"Two minutes of sprint interval exercise elicits 24 hour oxygen consumption similar to that of 30 minutes of continuous endurance exercise."
What? This article tells us that only two minutes of all out, intense exercise is similar to that of 30 minutes of lower intensity exercise. It should be noted that the subjects in this study were young and healthy. It is recommended to check with your doctor before beginning an exercise program; not to mention a high intensity one.
If anything, this study eliminates the excuse "I don't have time to exercise!" Huh? You don't have two minutes to spare?????
Two minutes. That's it. Make it happen.
